Be advised to keep an eye on Chuck Auto adviser at Global Car Care as when his mouth opens he is a professional BS speaker who will talk rings around anything you say. I brought my car in for a service and ended up with $689 invoice and my wheel balance was worse after they worked on it and the air Conditioning was not working for even one minute after leaving the shop.And to confirm what I say here , watch Chuck come up with a BS response to this complaint. When I called to complain that neither the wheel alignment nor. the air conditioning worked he would not offer to give a single $ refund, nor did he offer to have the car brought back to correct the items either. End result was a Lube & Oil change $689 and car in worse shape than upon entry to Global Car Care. Should be Global Car Wrecker Chuck.
Dear Mr McGeough You stated that when you brought your vehicle into Global Car Care and then left with it after the work was done the car shook worse than it did before you came in and the air conditioning didn’t even work for 1 minute. When you brought you vehicle in you brought it in for us to check and determine why the A/C wasn’t blowing cold. I explained to you we would need to perform an Evacuation and recharge of the system which includes checking component operation and inspecting for leaks. When we completed that process we found that the system was still not blowing cold air. We then with your permission after explaining to you that we needed to try to determine why the A/C wasn’t engaging. I also explained that we needed more time to investigate. You said that would be fine but that you had an appointment for an alignment at 1pm. I suggested that we could do that here if you wanted . You Agree’d. At no time did you say anything to me about a vibration concern. If you had I would not have recommended an alignment until we determine the reason for the vibration. After we reached a point where we knew the process could take longer because we were waiting for a call from out Technical Assistance. You said you needed to be going. I informed you that the A/C wasn’t blowing cold but we would be very willing to continue the investigation of your A/C as soon as you could bring it back. At this time we had increased you estimate to $909.68 and you approved that amount on 9.5.19 at 11.43 am. I did come back to you once the Technician had everything back together and informed you that the A/C was blowing cold but I also said that we didn’t know why and could not guarrantee how long it would continue to do so. When the final decision was made for you to leave at that point and then come back in a week or so for us to continue the investigation I chose to go back into the repair order and not charge you for the Continued investigation into the A/C that we had to pursue in our effort to determine the issue with the System not blowing cold. I lowered the bill from $909.68 down to $689.12 a difference of $220.56 because we were not able to complete the diagnosis at this time We changed your oil and oil filter- you approved in advance and paid for the service. We Evacuated and Recharged the A/C System with the understanding there might be other concern. You Approved in advance and paid for the service. We informed you that we needed to continue to investigate why the A/C was not blowing cold, You approved the investigation in advance and we chose not to charge at this time because we had not been able to complete the investigation because of your need to leave with the promise you would return for us to continue the process. We Performed an alignment on your vehicle per you request with acceptable results which you approved in advance. At no time did you mention that your vehicle was vibrating before you came to see us accept in the Text message you sent us after the work was done and after you had driven the vehicle over to I believe the Seattle area. I would have recommended we not do an alignment until the vibration was diagnosed and addressed. An alignment will not in its self correct and vibration.
